From the 2009 album Brandon Seabrook: Seabrook Power Plant. Very talented avant-jazz guitar work. I had the pleasure to seeing Seabrook play at a Brooklyn NYC show. If you enjoy insane guitar work, or love math rock- look no further.
The Faint - Tandem: City to City

From their 1998 album "Media". Lyrics: We hear the talk We settle down Release the thought We get along I don't know which is better now This backwardness or my own imbalance We can stand each other When there's nothing else There is no way to compromise When no one cares When the action dies The crowd awakes to the truth This city was cut from your saga So hold yourself for the first in line O...

Indie band from Illinois. Song is top notch! Lyrics: everyday i wake up lonely everyday i feel the same i need to fill my hollow memory so i guess i'll board a train all that i can do is stay right here and wait for you now familiar faces dart before me resistant to a stranger's glance maybe this is wish resigning a hope that's bound to take a chance all that i can do is stay right here and wai...

The Stills - Rooibos/Palm Wine Drinkard
Bought this album because of a review in the Illinois Entertainer saying "It is the ultimate after midnight album"
I just got the tattoo from this song
❤❤❤
It's amazing how differently this version hits than the LP album version. The refrain on this song is one of the most powerful I've ever heard.
❤
adam pierce is a genius
I sincerely love this version more than words could ever say
Shades of "Wharf Rat" by The Grateful Dead
Make an 8-track guys
Hypnotic, amazing version of this beautiful hymn....
From the movie Unhitched
Their best song! Why don’t they play it more often? Like in stores, etc?
Because like any business, music is a business today. Not how good it is, how much money can it make.
I had the weirdest dream last night. I was hanging out at a beach party around a fire with a bunch of ppl, musicians specifically & and slowly realized I was speaking to the lead singer of this band. We went for a walk on the beach & he said "watch this". He took off running & turned into a horse. Then the running horse caught fire(but wasn't burned) & everyone on the beach was amazed. I turned into a flaming bird & was about to take a flight, but my stupid phone rang & woke me up! I woke up with this song playing in my head..
Awesome dream! ❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
for some reason I keep hearing Alanis Morissette singing this
she sounds SO good live. this was my first, and definitely not my last, concert of hers. thanks for the video ❤
So so talented! You're welcome. 😊
just came back to check if this is still the most under-appreciated song of all time...yuuup, still is.
I agree with the pavement comment, first time I heard it I kind of thought about that..... It's really hard to explain why this song is so wonderful..... No extraordinary vocals..... Or great guitar solo..... I haven't studied the lyrics enough to give an opinion..... But who cares about any of that?.... Bottom line....IT WORKS!!!.... REALLY WORKS!.... It's a song that can make you a bit happy and melancholy all at the same time if that's possible?...... I really like the voice of the lead singer..... And it's hard to believe more people don't know it..... Because almost all my friends who are really into music would dig this song..... I loved it the first 60 seconds I heard it..... Pretty good name for a band as well.
I wish I could find this on Spotify! So many memories, I remember watching a channel called that Vat19 as a kid and then finding this band afterwards. I'm 24 now!
Wonderful! :-D
Masterpiece
I'm repeating this.over and over....floating......
Founds this on Pandora in 2007😭time flies🧸
Maybe his best song
Still rocking them Foxy Morons. 👋
Hello?
Most underrated band ever.
This song is making me feel really nostalgic, but I don't even know what for.
I just got tatooed in Medellin - the word "fiction" on my upper arm. no kidding.
Never been to Vermont, but i wish. This was on my mixtape, I followed Cursive for years.
Figured them out on a grey November morning back in 2020 during the pandemic on the way to work. A lot of bad things have happened since and they have helped tremendously
It's TOAD THE WET SPROCKET, not Toad AND the Wet Sprocket. WTF is wrong with you? Next, post Rolling and the Stones.
This is legit
❤️😭
❤❤❤
It’s a gorgeous song they make it sound so soft and so big

Love love love the outro
Anybody that put a thumb down for this song doesn’t know what good music is
great album and the title song is a melancholic masterpiece. tight bandplaying as well.
A beautiful classic 😊Like the cool side of the pillow 😊🎶❤️🎶🌈🎶☀️🎶🌊🎶🌎
Whaaaaaaa. Uh subscribed.
Smooth ❤️
this song is literally a bop- imagine listening to it on a snowy road trip- literally perfect
growing up amd living in vermont, and listening to cursive forever, this song means a lot to me
This song won’t stop playing in my head every time I play Day Z
I can see the producer just slowly, tenderly caressing his giant erection while he adjusts the mid
I listen to this secretly every week. It's still so good
In secret?? Be proud brother! They aren't making music like this anymore to my knowledge, I'm out of the scene though. Cursive forever!! :)
The days before cancel culture..... the times where you could make jokes and not be threatened with losing your job. The good old days.
The chorus of this makes me cry.
Sounds like The Dead
